Caroline County, on Maryland's Eastern Shore, is located midway
between Maryland's northern and southern borders. It shares its
eastern border with Delaware. The county is rural in character.
Farming, primarily grain and vegetable crops, is a major economic
pursuit. Major business centers are the towns of Denton and
Federalsburg.
