LEGISLATIVE SESSION MINUTES

December 17, 2002

At 9:50 a.m., and on motion by Mr. Gangemi and duly seconded, the Commissioners unanimously convened in legislative session. The Commissioners undertook third reading and proposed enactment of Legislative Bill #2002-3, Civil Infractions.

Leigh Sands, executive assistant, stated that the proposed bill was introduced on November 12, 2002 and that the required public hearing for the bill was held on December 10, 2002, which there was no public comment and no objections. There being no further discussion on the bill, the Commissioners, on motion by Mr. Gangemi and seconded by Mr. Layton, unanimously enacted and signed into law Legislative Bill #2002-3, Civil Infractions. The bill will take effect in 45 days, which is February 1, 2003. Summary of this bill will be advertised in the newspaper as required by law.

The session was adjourned at 9:55 a.m.
