Trash Permits

Our goal is to make solid waste services “pay-as-we-go.” The money we collect for permits directly supports the three permit-required courtesy sites. The permit fee currently is $100 per vehicle per year and this may be prorated based on when the permit is purchased.

Permit Rules
  • Each vehicle must have its own permit
  • Proof of County residency is required
  • The permit sticker must be affixed to the interior of the vehicle's windshield at the lower left corner of the driver's side.
  • Permit that are not affixed will not be considered valid.
  • Misuse of a permit or violation of the solid waste / recycling rules may result in a permit being revoked.
  • Permit may not be transferred to others vehicle or persons.
  • Replacement permits may be obtained free of charge under the following limited circumstances: Sale of vehicle, theft of vehicle, or loss of windshield.
  • Proper documentation must be provided to obtain a replacement permit.
