Ambulance Subscription Plan

2016- 2017 Ambulance Subscription Plan

Online enrollment is now open for the 2016 – 2017 Caroline County Emergency Medical Services’ Ambulance Subscription Plan.  This program protects those enrolled from unexpected medical expenses by ensuring that in the event of an emergency, they will not be charged for ambulance transportation to the hospital.

Did you know that the cost of ambulance transportation from your home to the hospital can exceed $600? Even if you are covered by insurance or Medicare, most plans will not cover 100% of the bills incurred for ambulance transport. You can protect yourself from these unexpected medical expenses by enrolling in Caroline County’s Annual Ambulance Subscription Plan.

Rates for the plan start at $45 for an individual or family of two, and the cost for a family of three or more is $75. The business plan costs $100 for up to 10 employees, $150 for 11 – 25 employees, and $200 for businesses with more than 25 employees.

Participation in the plan also gives back to the community. Funds are used to support Caroline’s emergency service providers, including eight volunteer fire companies and the county paramedics.

County residents and businesses may enroll in the plan through the subscription packet that will be mailed to all Caroline County households in April or through our online enrollment portal.
