The Department of Emergency Services has implemented a training and continuing education program designed to ensure continuous quality improvement, improved patient outcomes, and provide every EMS Clinician in Caroline County (both career and volunteer) with all education and training required for recertification at both the national and state level. Additionally, the training staff of DES are highly involved in community outreach and education during special events like Summerfest as well as through educational courses such as CPR, AED, and Stop the Bleed.
